You can henceforth get to your bus stop, workplace or home easier thanks to the CycloTEC foldable bicycle!

The TEC Group offers CycloTEC, a pass that combines the bus with the use of a foldable bicycle for one year.

This pass is available for passengers aged at least 16 for €180 or €200 (depending on the category of users to which you belong) and the deposit of a €50 security, to be added to the amount of your conventional bus pass. This price includes the rental of the foldable bicycle, its annual maintenance and an all risk insurance, including theft.

The bicycle is retrieved, serviced and returned at CycloTEC authorised relay points all over Wallonia.

This concept was developed in partnership with a manufacturer and comprises all aspects of research and development for a bicycle perfectly suited for the bicycle + bus-tram-metro combination thanks to the following characteristics:

• Light weight (less than 10 kg)
• Easy to fold and unfold (10 seconds)
• Belt instead of a chain (no grease)
• Reduced bulk once folded
• Brakes can be blocked to immobilise the bicycle once on the bus.

The TEC Group has acquired the exclusive rights thereto for Europe in combination with a public transport pass through its new subsidiary C-TEC.

Capitalise on the complementary nature of bus and train, and use the combined TEC-SNCB (Belgian Rail) pass, a better solution for using train and bus, for a specified route and in an urban area alike.

Train + bus route

You can combine your TEC bus route with an SNCB (Belgian Rail) train card. 2 bus routes maximum are authorised per train card. In this way, you need only one pass for all your routes.

This combined pass is issued exclusively in SNCB (Belgian Rail) stations.

To determine the price, the distance you cover by bus will be added to the distance of the train route (the sum of these distances may at no time exceed 200 kilometres).

It will take 4 days to get your combined train-TEC pass.

Train + urban network

You can also combine a complete urban network with a train pass.

This option is available for the cities of Arlon, Charleroi, Dinant, La Louvière, Liège, Mons, Mouscron, Namur, Tournai and Verviers.

In such a case, a flat rate is added to the price of the train pass, entitling you to travel free of charge in the TEC urban area as often as you wish.

This train pass is available immediately at the teller windows of SNCB (Belgian Rail) stations.

The TEC offers you the option of exchanging your number plate for 3 years of bus travel for free and a Cambio shared car at a good price!

To present this mobility solution, the TEC Group is preparing a communication campaign on the generic theme "The TEC offers 1001 mobility solutions."

"With the TEC, I look ahead" offers you to exchange your number plate for 3 years of bus travel for free and a Cambio shared car at a good price. For information, there are Cambio stations in Arlon, Ciney, Liège, Namur, Ottignies/Louvain-La-Neuve and Mons.

What is the underlying principle of this offer?

Anyone who returns a number plate that has existed for at least 6 months to the department of motor vehicle registration (known by the French acronym "DIV"), may qualify, under certain conditions, for him/herself or for a member of his or her family for a pass to travel for free on the TEC network. The pass is issued for an initial period of twelve months and is then automatically renewed for two new twelve-month periods.

In return, each member of the applicant's family undertakes not to apply for a new number plate during the term of validity of the free pass.

A free pass for the entire family !

If your household no longer has a car after you have returned your number plate(s), each member of your family may qualify for 3 years of bus travel for free.

Cambio reduction for TEC subscribers

The TEC Group has moreover negotiated a preferential rate for Cambio shared cars for its clients.

Every new Cambio client who also has or obtains a TEC annual pass, qualifies, upon producing his or her validation ticket, for a 50% reduction in the start or bonus activation costs.

Holders of the TEC 65+ or free travel card who use the TEC network fall under TEC pass holders.
